Can I ask how you would spec a new VNL? I am enjoying the fuel savings that I get presently from My Cascadia, sure would welcome some more.

    Siinman Thanks this.

Saw one in Michigan the other day. Slightly uglier in person than in the promotional videos.

That thing would make it about 15 feet through the front gate at the yard and it'd be missing most of the skirting and the bumper.

I agree, the nose/grill is just too long. Every new pick up is getting this way too though.

I was dropping my truck off the other day at the shop and a mechanic was just pulling a new one out of a bay and into the yard. I stopped and asked if I could check it out. I was in a hurry but did a quick walk around and hopped in the driver's seat. I like the upgrades on the dash but it has a lot less cabinet doors and seems like less storage than mine (both 860's). I asked the mechanic getting out of it what he thought and he said "I hate it. It's a 48 volt system".

    Oxbow Thanks this.

I would get the 500HP 1850 Torque with I Torque settings 13 speed 2.18 RAR but it really depends on what you haul? This is more for my dry van set up and you will need to tweak the parameters as well.

Right. Sits way too low to the ground and I haven't seen any come out without side fairings.

Appreciate the response, currently am running with a 2.28 RAR,450HP & 12 speed,I like the specs you propose,a little more HP & Torque will make it a better driver.

Mechanics only like what they are used to working on lol,now that guy has to learn something new,I am thinking that the 48 volts will go better with the electric APU system,of course it has to prove itself yet.

It does not look any lower than my 2021 Cascadia,I agree a little too close to the ground,I will say this about the side fairings on my truck? they have scraped quite a few times on uneven ground & are still in one piece, the lowest part of the fairings is designed to absorb punishment.
