Stereotypes exist for a reason. If a culture celebrates the criminals and sufficient numbers in the culture imitate the criminals BUT ALL THE LOUD TALKING is only about people noticing the bad behavior and none of it is about demanding those idolizing and imitating the bad behavior act better. That shows which is the real concern, the behavior or noticing the behavior.

Nobody has a Federal Thought Police Badge. Nobody can give anyone a permit to say A, but not B. Everyone is responsible for their own feelings, and everyone is responsible for using the opportunity they have, not parceling out fair shares of the collected wealth to make the world fair. The dishonest nature of this topic over the last 20 years means some people are not interested in listening to Professional Victims explain how much more should be given to them. The Race Card is being declined by the machine and there's nothing I can or will do about it.

If someone wants to dress, talk, act like the last 9 suspects in a hold-up, I assume they are a suspect. They chose their dress, speech, actions, those choices have consequences. Who is going into the criminal world and blaming them for making the community look bad? If they don't look like the last 9 suspects I don't treat them like a suspect and I don't seek or need anyone's approval to make ANY choice whether it's the one someone likes or not. There is no peace or safety in seeking approval from others. I can prove this because as relations got better have the Professional Victims wanted less or toned down their complaints? NOPE, the demands increased. Its a scam. Don't play the game.

If anyone thinks I turn a blind-eye to the people one thinks come from my community, I can show you plenty of hard-### comments I make about their stupid behavior. "Police your own trash before complaining about your neighbor's yard." What's more fair than that?

You are making yourself look foolish if you don’t think entertainment doesn’t influence culture. From the way young people speak, dress, act. It’s all influenced by pop culture. This is not a black issue or a white issue. This is a parent issue. And it’s been going on for 40 years.

 

Parents & children have responsibility for what entertainment they permit or consume. If they consume poison, they get sick. Don't want to get sick, don't consume poison. Not EVERYTHING is someone else's fault. "But it's everywhere." So are phone or videos about every other topic. Make good choice & accept power over your life.

Hmmm.....you make me chuckle, Six. You say that like you're the authority lol, I only offer differences of opinion, and quite frankly it will be uncomfortable at times. I think ita good when the forum gets a fresh paint of coat lol. In all seriousness, I'm actually never going to have these dialogues again. I have "learned" quite a bit in some of these threads in recent weeks. Consider me......affirmed.
