No. It looks great, but the sales video makes every product look great. If you can afford it, you have a trailer with the spring locks, buy it. So many trailers are air-release it seems the tool's customer base is shrinking.

My dad would not tinker and make anything. He wanted a specific tool made for one task. I tinkerer. Both approaches have + & -

I have one. It works as advertised. Heavy duty, lots and lots of hydraulic pressure.

I certainly remember the old back and forth 1/32 of an inch, or the beat it with a hammer, or the chain, spring, clamp forerunner. This looks a lot more safe to use. and easier to store.

Back when I was leased on to a Mega, I used a pair of cheap vice grips.

Pull the handle out as much as it can go on, lock the vice grips on the handle, go into your tractor and rock the trailer back and forth, go back to the trailer and pull the handle all the way out and lock it in.

If the handle doesn’t want to lock in, use the vice grips to lock it in.

Now all my trailers are air slide, so I don’t need to do that anymore.

I like it , back in the day, We never had nothing like that. I can’t tell you how many times I get in and out of the truck to find The right hole, but then I would scrape it with a screwdriver to Mark the right hole.
