The plug in cooler I used worked ok when I did regional work but it's wouldn't be enough for longer runs. I bet companies are going to cut back on amenities like that even more after the proposed tariffs start working like the economists say they will.

 

I know there's companies like that out there. But the ones I hear about actually pay the drivers more due to the bare bones trucks. Ecklund is one that comes to mind. Personally I'd rather take a little less pay and be comfortable even in my situation where I'm home every weekend.

To order bare bones, stripped down trucks and still pay crap cpm is just greed. But that's generally the nature of public companies. Gotta make sure the shareholders get theirs first.

 

This isn't directed at you Still Undecided rather the "educated" bean counters and financial pricks who justify & defend leadership pay & benefits packages and twist the verbage around and call quality of life necessities amenities.

It's like when retarded powerful politicians call a system you have paid into your whole life an entitlement program.

 

I know Molson Coors is no longer going to be brewing Leinenkugel's in Wisconsin. A storied brand since 1867.
Just a larger trend of people drinking less beer and i wonder if that has something to do with Millis slowing?

 

Are they completely closing the 10th Street Brewery or are they just no longer brewing Leinenkugel there.

You know....back when I was still working in IT I drank like a fkn viking. Didn't realize that giving up the brew and driving a truck would have such an impact on the nation's economy.

If they brew Leinies in Milwaukee someone's gotta haul that.

In other news New Glarus Brewing is ACTUALLY expanding when others are contracting....

 

I don't drink that much, but I was in Leinies kick this summer. Just doing my part to help out.

 

They make an excellent Oktoberfest beer.
