Put a straight edge across your manifold. It’s getting thin and eroding away. They make a centering tool to tighten them to get even pressure around the holes. That helps but isn’t a cure all. Most have never seen the centering pinsLast edited: Nov 27, 2024

I’ve had a lot of success with that over the years. Finding a machine shop in my area that’s not a 100 mile drive is the issue. I always split the sections while it’s off clean them out good and refill with some high temp anti seize. Being square port there is no aftermarket available. I had a guy tell me that the round full tilt would seal on a square head but the way he talked I see issues from it lol.

Ya the original B’s were different length. I got plenty so I can’t answer your question and I realize it’s not helping you either I’ll work on that
tj379 Thanks this. -
ok well that makes that easy... im fine with stock, yes i got lucky, gye who bored a bbc like 15 yrs ago for me , shaved this in 2 hrs for me for 200 cdn cash , 15 min from house had it back in 2.5 hrs, i never seperated it , he said be harder to clamp to machine? idk.... its done and on in a day so i can at least get rollin and next time plan on a manifold new... centering pins make sence i allmost grsbbed some 3/8 hard plastic air lone to slide over stud to center but just kinda held it in zapped it

#### I missed that
#### I sure did miss that. I would put an aftermarket manifold on it then. The square seals over a round no problem and they are capable of more flow. But I always kinda wondered about forces you can’t see etc. and the aftermarket are better quality with a positive seal at the joints.Deere hunter and tj379 Thank this.
