The freight recession is officially over.

I’ve been pretty slow for the better part of a year now. Way too many people willing to work for peanuts.

 

Do you do something like 2000 miles with $6000 gross every week with your dump truck, or how does your typical week look like?

 

That's about right for the week a little lower than I usually bring home. Not to mention I am home every day on't work weekends either

 

I wish I could afford designer jorts.

 

And the chest pounders come out to inflate their own egos once again.

 

When the phrase “ I don’t get out of bed for less than…” or “ I don’t turn the key for less than….” it’s time to move on to the next thread.

 

It takes a lot of money to maintain a mullet

 

I can understand your skepticism but there are those of us that have been doing this a long long time (44 yrs) and planned for the day were we could think and make decisions like that. I can go broke at home much more comfortably at home than at some crappy truckstop.

 

I'm at the 44 year mark myself. And hoping for about six more.(at least)
