@wore out So I suppose Gus told you the ranches here are having issues getting the moo hauled (not a $$ thing) just truck shortages. Who do ya call for that?Dale thompson, Feedman, JolliRoger and 5 others Thank this.

I’ll never retire or quit completely. It’s not something I’m designed to do. I’m ok with slowing down. I just don’t wanna know when I’ve hit my last chute. We may have to adjust our new plan here and there. For instance I put Doc in the truck last week it was a short week. I see a difference and she seen a difference in us both. So he is no longer retired. I’ve decided it’s not fair to me to make decisions for him and use his wellbeing as justification. I’m let him do what makes him happy. Making the most of what he has left whether it’s a little or a lot is what we’re gonna do.Oldman83, austinmike, sawmill and 16 others Thank this.

@wore out
I agree that you can't decide if he's done , he'll tell you. When my boy Jimy's treatment and every option we had failed HE decided he wanted to stay home. Frankly I missed him awful but was happy about it too as the ramp was going to be an issue for him getting in and out of the truck. I wanted him to be happy as long as he could be. I think you're the same way about Doc. As for you my friend, you'll know when it's time, although I don't see that happening simply because of the joy and sense of purpose it gives you. Same reason as I start into my 45th year I don't see me retiring. I am HAPPY in the truck, even on the worst of days it makes me happy and content and that's what life to me is about.austinmike, sawmill, Dale thompson and 8 others Thank this. -
He got home sick.
Dale thompson, wore out, pete781693 and 6 others Thank this. -
@MACK E-6 The truth is Doc ran off with Gus and the only way to get him to leave the topless bar was for @wore out to break out the moo mobileaustinmike, Dale thompson, wore out and 8 others Thank this.
