The bunk heater does not use hardly any power. So winter time it is not as bad as summer time. I love mine but also added Lithium Starting batteries and it is great now! I have only had one issue with it but that was when I first had it installed. Since then I have had no issues with it at all.

I don't stay in my truck normally and run an epu, even have a solar panel to put up on the roof if I ever get around to it, and for my situation it works great, I am home for my reset every weekend, and just plug the truck in when its cold, have a block and oil pan heater I plug into about 3 or 4 hours to before I go if it is real cold I will plug it in over night. If I had to do resets out on the road and run an air conditioner I would have to run the truck some, but mine is not tied into my starting batteries at all so it will just kill the house batteries. I also have the capability to run a small generator on it if I have to to charge so I would more than likely carry a small generator for recharge if I had to do a reset on the road.

Little update for you since its been a couple weeks. Overall truck is doing good. It did blow the turbo and take out the decomp tube and a few other things. But warranty took care of the whole bill and had me up and running again in 24 hours. Turns out the inside of one of the tubes rusted and said rust flakes got sucked into the turbo and did unspeakable things to it. So....that happened.
No weird sounds. No check engine lights and so far is a direct upgrade to the green one in every way. Also averageing around 5.7 mpg. But thats only 9k miles of running and a lot of it uphill so we will see what the true average is after a couple months.
Also arent internationals supposed to be loud squeeky and rattly? This one is whisper silent....no really i have a DB meter and my pete was always at around 110+ and got upto 130+ with the peak being 143 when the fan was on. All day every day.....This one peaks at 45ish and usually is around 20-25 and the only rattle is whats in my fridge. -
Well this is concerning. Idled all night and woke up to this. Its also leaking out the back....
Constant Learner and Siinman Thank this. -
Rear main?

Most likely. Wont know for sure till i can get it into a shop. There is a support strut right below the opening up there im too big to fit around. So i cant see real well where its dripping from. Also everything back there has a thick layer of dirt and oil so that doesnt help either. But unless its coming from the top of the bell houseing only thing i can think it would be is the rear main.

The top picture looks like oil from the ccv filter or breather.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
I cleaned that one up and used some UV oil dye there. Its coming from the front cover and dripping down. Theres also some at the head at the same corner but i cant tell if its a leak or just blowing there from the fan.
Tried the UV trick for the back too but since i cant get up there god forbid clean it i cant really tell. -
Could just paint green and call it a Detroit
