Can someone explain to me how these tarps work? Maybe overthinking it…
Recently bought an old roll rite tarp system it has steel arms which is indicative of its age.
I’m curious what drives the heavy steel arms back towards the rear gate?
Obviously if the tarp is extended and covering the wagon the motor upfront is rolling in the tarp which is attached to the arms and is pulling them to the front. But what is pushing the arms towards the rear gate is it a separate motor?
The old owner told me I needed a tarp relay too.
New O/O, Old truck what do I need to keep her in top shape?

Good morning fellow drivers, I’m at the quarry waiting to get loaded up. Since I have extra time I’m curious if you guys have ever seen a day cab in the a turbo wing to help with fuel mileage? I have one for sale near me, if I can score it for a real good price I might buy it. I’m sure all O/O want to save money where they can.
