No I work every Saturday and Sunday. I learned a long time ago with my own truck that sometimes a weekend is what you make it. I usually had them off but sometimes the business dictated working on Saturday and or Sunday. It didn't bother me though I know it's a deal breaker for many. I like going to a restaurant and never having to wait for a table, you're gonna wait on the weekend. I like not having to burn PTO just to go to the dentist or doctor. Those are small things but they count. I can schedule any Saturday or Sunday that I want off and I do that sometimes. Used 4 weeks of vacation time this year and still have 4.5 days left. Yeah I'm fine having my weekend in the middle of the week.

Tomorrow is payday and one more check to crack 160k for the year. No I don’t work extra days and I’m home most nights. Still no weekends off yet though, I’ll take the extra weekend pay.

I'm at $112k so far with 3 weeks left. Would be about $10-$12k higher if I didn't use my paid paternity leave. Next year I'm aiming for $145k to pay down some debt and offset fewer hours at my wife's job.
