Take them to Small Claims Court in the city of the terminal you were fired at. That's BS. It's a fairly simple process. Probably costs like $20 to file. You don't need a lawyer. No chance I would let them get away with that. And Im 6-0 in Small Claims Court.

You can’t file a case in small claims court for getting fired. You’re not filing an employment case in small claims court. They thing you could in small claims court for that that is if they didn’t pay you. Texas is an “at will” state and can get rid of you at anytime they want. You work at their will.

They said I should have put out my triangles and blocked the right lane of a construction zone until police arrived. They simply did not care that what they were asking me do is explicitly illegal under Georgia state law. For such a minor incident, I thought the only sensible thing to do was remove the truck to a safe place to conduct insurance information sharing and calling the company. If I had sat on the side of the road blocking traffic, and someone slammed into the back of my rig, I could have been facing prison.

Many metro areas have signs specifically stating that if you have a "fender bender" to move vehicles out of the travel lanes. To me it sounds like you'd have slam dunk victory if you took them to court, or the labor board, over this.
