The Cryo Hauler Thread

Can anyone comment on the Linde/Praxair cryo facility located in Theodore, AL (just SW of Mobile)? Do they have company drivers there? What third-party carriers also load there? What products are produced there?

It's a smaller ASU plant.
Yes they have company drivers.
I think Southern haulers has cryo trailers that contract to linde.
They are next to Chart who builds trailers and tanks

 

We also have a plant north of Mobile, in Mcintosh.

 

That facility seems to hire teams only.

Or am I incorrect on that?

I wouldn't know the specifics on those guys other than seeing a team loading w me in NW Indiana.

At one point before I was hired here 15 yrs ago we ran all teams.
Business and needs change.

 

Good afternoon, Colleagues! Hope everyone is well. Is Linde Paying referral bonuses or have they in the past year? There a driver at work that recruited another driver several months ago. he swears up and down that Linde had a referral bonus program, at least back then. They wont pay him and claim they never said they had one. He says he has emails to prove otherwise.

 

They did back a year plus ago.
Don't know if there was an expiration date on it.
I will look in my clipboard and maybe I can find the info

 

Thanks, Buddy. Our guy is on the Safety counsel and they had discussed it at the last meeting last December, but it was never mentioned again. I guess they discontinued it along with sign on bonuses. The driver 8 months before me got $5k, but they discontinued it before I came back on.

 

So I was wondering so I checked. Matheson has a couple job openings in Maine. But they feel like class b jobs based on description.
