"Home every day" means just that.....because you'll work every night.
I was in the LTL business for 20+ years in some supervisory position or whatever.
I would never do it as a driver.
One of the happiest days in my life is when FXF ran me off.

Yep, every driver will kill to get into the wonderful world of LTL until they realize what LTL is actually like. At least XPO gave you linehaul and 3 strikes. I've been fighting like hell to get on linehaul and off P&D and Dock work for way too long. We had a guy of 12 years at our company get #### canned for blowing out a tire on a curb. First incident in 7 years. Zero tolerance right now because the market is slow.
I sleep in my car half the week because driving home isn't worth the waste of time. We've also had our lunch breaks effectively taken away by some slimey lawyering on the company's part. Work 14 hours a day fighting heavy ### pallets with broken manual pallet jacks and don't even get to eat. But that money is golden handcuffs. They know they got you by the balls. -
