For what it's worth -- getting your CDL situation properly resolved is well worth it.

Tennessee (especially east of Nashville) is actually a pretty good place to look for & acquire CDL employment....for the present, anyway.

You haven't heard the news? TN is full. The flying venomous tarantulas are out of control & the rattlesnakes live in the sewers & prey on newcomers at the worst possible time. I hear sure other states don't have this problem.

I think the whole system is interconnected these days.

 

I thought the 2nd state simply reported issuing an ID/DL to the first state and the 1st state was the one that canceled the DL

 

When you apply for an ID and receive one, they are supposed to tell you that it replaces any license you have in any state. This is because the law is one ID or License.

What they are not supposed to do is deny a transfer of a CDL, the entire purpose of the CDL program is to have a portable single license system that is transferable to prevent more than one license.

 

Huntsville, AL, Bowling Green, KY, and North GA are also facing the same tarantula and rattlesnake issue.
