Cmon, I know you already looked at data, how many drivers did you count who got H2B? Just admit that you, together with that article author, have no clue how H2B works for truck drivers.

If anybody else is willing to help out count the visas, it would be appreciated, since it seems like he is upset and can't accept words coming out of my mouth.

 

I agree about foreigners, but I've seen some appalling reckless driving from our homegrown cattlehaulers. Tailgating anyone that gets in their way.

 

If all the foreigners owned trucking companies are so bad then why do Americans work for them?

 

Ok, points taken. I'm only saying your beef is misplaced. Who put those foreigners in position to be able to do this? Who provided the avenues? One can only take what is given/provided.

 

Ok....share the wealth was meant to be figurative. I personally ain't got that much wealth lol. I meant in terms of opportunities here in the states. I should have been more literal. What I was trying to say is that I have no problem with them going after the same opportunities/jobs. I don't view it as an American or foreign thing. I see us humans, and if they want to come here to better themselves, who am I to judge? I'll stop at nothing to take care of my family, and neither will they, or any of you for that matter. I can respect it on all levels.

 

Sharing what wealth? I just loaded on Lamar Ave in Memphis on Friday... Tell me what kind of wealth and who has it over there to share?

Gas was $2.45/gal even with body armor and a armed guard I wouldn't get out of my car or truck to get it...

If you have no problem sharing the wealth why not start with your own community versus worrying or attending to other countries down falls? Start here....


On a side note, I picked up the second part of my load on a different side of Memphis and the entire block was not only barbed wire fences, crackheads, and hookers... Every business had the electric fence going as well...

But let's share the wealth to the 3rd world...
