I had a 6' Skipshooter, angled at 45 degrees on a low mirror mount, on the Cascadia I was driving last year. Got into a bit of freezing rain in eastern Indiana. That antenna was swingin' and swayin' back and forth like nobody's business! SWR was off the charts until the ice melted. Antenna was fine after that.
    Skipshooters can take some abuse!

SWR isn't that important once you get it below 2:1. Anything 1 point anything to one is fine. If you get to 1.5:1 you are done. Any improvements you see over and above that will be negligible.

Had a 7ft Skipshooter on several cascadias. didn't quite go to 45 degrees on angle. sleeved it with PVC pipe at the bottom for extra support. Antenna survived fine but broke several Wilson Cascadia mounts. It's a little too tall for this truck without fabricating some type of angle or step down mount. or I would try it

Got the 56' because on a 23 Peterbilt 579 on the spot mirror. No place to fit my Predator Bad to the bone. Went with the driver Extreme coax, really good quality. And even bought the speaker. Omg that sounds real good. It's super think and I see no need to cut some pvc or anything else silly like that. It's made for truckers in mind. The antenna was simple to tune. 1.2 on 19 and my Stryker gets out out!! Like our! Took a gamble and only bought it because it's a ProComm product made in the USA

Gotta admit the speaker seems goo,its heavy and ment to sit on a dash kinda bottom though..Seems louder than my cobra 500 at same volume but i have not really tested it........Bought it last summer with plans of installing it but when word came i might be switching trucks i didnt bother...Still in the same trk that i dont like..
