    I have a buddy that swapped a Detroit 14L egr for a 1999 MK 12.7L. It runs great, but the cruise only works at idle. It’s in a 2005 Western Star 4900. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check?

    I'm not a mechanic by no means but I had that happen and it was the clutch pedal switch sticking. Maybe it bypasses that switch if the breaks are pulled. Just my 2 cents. Good luck

    probably has the wrong speed sensor on trans some the 12.7 had 2 sensors
