Speeding container hauler slammed into Caltrans truck

I never though I'd head "speeding" and "container hauler" in the same sentence.

 

Which ports?

Because every container hauler I've ever seen in Houston or in the LA / IE area has been maddeningly slow, both in terms of acceleration and top speed.

It’s not just the ports, they’re speed demons at some of the rail yards as well!

I think I passed through there in summer of 2003. If not, then it would've been late 2000 / early 2001.

Maybe one out of a thousand! In my opinion if your calling the container haulers speed demons. I would hate to be in traffic behind you, they are terriblely slow and unaware but speed demons overall they are not. And yes I am stuck on the highways with them frequently!

 

Like I said,wherever I’m at they’re always flying.(70 mph plus)
Incidentally,I’m governed at 65 mph and in the right lane to begin with-so why would you be hanging in traffic behind me to begin with? That’s what the left passing lane is for-pass me by and be on your merry little way!
