    Witch area are you moving to? That plays a part in what company to work at. A guy I use to work with drove from Willis to Baytown eveynight. And back home every morning through all the traffic. I would have been burned out on that by the end of the first month.

    And also you have to decide what type of trucking you want to do, LTL, Tanker, Car Hauling, Containers, and ETC. A driver can make $75k-$120k p/yr in Houston. Depending on what type of trucking you get into.

    How local, home every day? Try cryo companies. They would be local for day to day. Or regional at worst.

    Katy, cypress , the woodlands , or Sugarland. I’m assuming that’ll be a far drive to to the industrial side of Houston. It’s a thought in my head.
    Also I’d do any lane of trucking. Not really feeling intermodal at the moment which is what I’m doing now.
