I can only share my experience, as a new driver.
At first they seemed like a very inviting warm company promising the world.
Orientation lasted less than 2 days
Went out with a trainer who at first seemed like it would be the perfect fit, but then after 2 weeks he seemed to be dealing with life issues and was in his phone from the time he woke and until he went to bed.
Driver facing camera was constantly going off because he kept being distracted reaching for phone etc, this is when he was driving which was only around 1-3 hours after I would run my 11.
Safety called and told him to stay off phone, then he turned around and said (hey they are getting on my neck about phone use) like i was the one doing it.
(That camera only alerted on me 1 time in 3 weeks, a rough road)
I chose the high road and didn't want to cause tension.
He was condescending and I eventually told him, look I'm a grown man, you gonna learn to communicate better and be more flexible in your communication.
He felt like he needed to take it personally, so i said you having personal issues and it's becoming a issue with your attitude and training.
He didn't like that so was reporting it to the company, whom he has family ties with.
I got called into the yard and I voiced my opinion and we parted ways due to no other available options.
Low pay low miles can find yourself sitting for days , horrible communication and unless you are from their with family ties you are just a fish in the barrel.
I'm gonna take this as a learning experience, and know what to avoid in the future.
I value any opportunity that is in front of me, but lines have to be drawn , respect and good communication can go a long ways.
