I do take 95, but I try to time it where I pass through at night. I’ve done it in the daytime once, and surprisingly I didn’t have any traffic issues. Once you cross the bridge, the lanes get very narrow without any room for drift.

I will try to post some measurements of the fridge when I have time. We have Peterbilts, Internationals, Kenworths, and Freightliners. What each person gets is above my pay grade to answer. I have a curtain behind the seats that divides the sleeper and driving cab. I haven’t had windshield curtains in the last few trucks. I personally don’t care for them. I use the curtain behind the seat when I sleep.

I got some snow on I 87 north of Albany on Friday. It wasn't too heavy, but there were still a few cars sliding off the road and into each other.

Finally get past the back up traffic north of Albany only to run into another rubber necker back up due to an airplane that had to make an emergency landing on the northbound 87. It didn't appear to have any damage so the pilot must have made it down without any issue. As they say, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

I’m glad the timing of it worked out where you weren’t in the path and forced to take the ditch or worse. Glad the pilot was alright, too.

Yeah, the windows curtains are a big deal for me, it opens more space in the truck when I close it, and I was just wondering if you've ever heard of any driver getting a truck they asked for over there and stuff.

The freightliner and Kenworth are very recent additions. I don't know of anyone asking for a specific truck and getting it.

I don't think any of the newer Peterbilts have cab curtains. I use regular sun visors from Walmart to block the windows and windshield.

I looked into getting custom made shades, but they were like $300 and knowing my luck as soon as I bought them I would get swapped out to a different kind of truck.
