Idaho got a dumb rule now , anything over 4ft of front overhang u need a permit but u can run 10ft OH on the rear with no permit... lol ok then
A bunch of our guys got popped for that a couple months back running 60s with 6ft on front and back.
at the scale on us93 coming north out jackpot nv.Iamoverit, Rideandrepair, Opendeckin and 1 other person Thank this. -
Idaho used to require lights on the front corners over 4ft and people weren’t doing it. We used to unload at QB a lot out east of Salmon and it was common to watch guys leave with a bunch of front overhang and no lights. That’s probably why a permit came into play. Do they still require front lights with a permit?Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and Oxbow Thank this.

Interesting I didn't know that! I don't remember seeing to light the front on my permit but I'll have to go back and lookRideandrepair, Oxbow, Gatordude and 1 other person Thank this.

Back when I was working for Cliff Idaho was lights over 4ft on either end. I could only get about 40” over the front so I didn’t have to worry about it. I’m feeling old, all my flatbed info is 6 years old now. LolSpeedy356, Rideandrepair, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.

I was told flags.

It’s cold outside and I’m bored so I did some google work. Shows 4ft to be legal, but then the state statute doesn’t say squat about lights or flags for front overhang. Wouldn’t be the first time Idaho has made stuff up as they went along.

I was looking for a website I had bookmarked called LaneHoney, it used to give the current rates on lanes, it appears to be gone, no longer in existence, so when I went searching for something similar good ole Google artificial intelliegence had this to say...
D.Tibbitt and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Wonder how they come up with that? This is what DAT shows for flats. Looks pretty similar to the average I see on ITS...
