Hello , does anyone know if there is any leeway on using different steer axles in different trucks ? I have a 1997 t800 and a donor axle from a 2000 t800 . Different part numbers. Is it possible to use the axle from the 2000 kenworth t800 on the 1997

Call kw and ask if the part number on the older one is superseded and if the newer one is the same number.

You sure ? The center bolts are 1/2 inch different in distance apart . The brackets that hold the leaf springs appear to be the same part . Will I have issues with steering linkage parts ?
