Yeah my ELD reads all active fault codes and it will tell you when the code was first and last observed so I know it’s a bunch of ########.
I denied the bearing inspection and after a brief talk with the manager they went ahead with the stand pipe replacement. I gave them permission to drop the oil pan and no metal was found in the pan or oil filter so that’s a good sign . Also told them to replace the oil suction manifold so hopefully all goes well . They should be done tomorrow.

If I remember correctly, you cannot clear a “fatal historic event”, like low oil pressure, over temp over speed or the like. This means that the 4000 seconds are an accumulation, and not necessarily happened at one time.

Makes sense. It probably adds a second or two every time you start the engine.

Again if I’m not mistaken, DDEC III and above, will wait to record an “event” for 3 seconds. This is why when it shuts down, you can turn key switch off, wait, then restart it and it will take a few seconds for it to “recognize”, it has no oil pressure even if there is no oil in the engine. DDEC doesn’t record anything until it sees the engine is running. If it did, it would log low oil pressure if you left the KOEO. If you have a sensor bad, unplugged or what, I think it sees that and will throw a code after, 2 engine revolutions, 3 maybe?

It could something simple as the oil pressure sensor not reading correctly did you get it figured out what the issue was ?

DD13 and DD15 motors since GHG 15 (2018 plus) and up have this issue.
It's not a broken pickup tube or standpipe, it's the $20 orings that feed the oil to the pump. Orings get brittle and lose the oil pressure.
Any Dd13 or DD15 since 2018 needs to have the oil tube o rings replaced every 400K miles.
Requires dropping the oil pan. Dealer level job unless you can get the truck 12" above ground.xsetra Thanks this.
