I have read about these guys asking to re-open a traffic conviction. Call the people at www.roadlaw.net

Thank you

As long as it’s 14 or less I should be good right?

You may have to give Western Express a call, they MIGHT hire you, they might not.
Look into work at a Driveaway company, delivering new and sometimes used trucks to places. Those are usually 1099 and you’d be considered as an independent contractor.
Aside from those? Call some Chicago companies. Bad as I hate to say that, because 99% of them aren’t any good.
I know LTL companies won’t even look at you, once they see your ticket.
Hopefully a lawyer can still help you.

Maybe I missed it, but why didn't you attempt to plea bargain the ticket or hire a lawyer? Most tickets, if paid within XX number of days will drop the violation or allow a plea (although 14+ is considered reckless or careless driving in most states), or why didn't you take the time to go to court on the issue?

Meh, not always, I regularly see my truck GPS being wrong on many things, this past week it routed me to a construction site with the warning "Turn on Unpaved dirt road for 4 miles", thank god I didn't as from talking to the customer it would have required a D9 to get me off that road. Also, since all the GPS companies frequently lag behind the state and municipalities by a year or more, a lot can change for speed limits. There's a stretch of US 34 in Otis, Co. where thanks to a sign screwup, all the GPS units think trucks are prohibited on a major route, it's been reported to the state, to Garmin, to Rand McNally, etc., the state fixed the sign, the GPS still haven't fixed the routing and it's been 18 months.

if Averitte will hire you back, maybe it's the dock to driver program.
work the docks until they can send you back out?tscottme Thanks this. -
I don’t know what, if anything can be done after the ticket has been paid, and I don’t think you’ve shared yet where the ticket originated at, but back in 2017 I received a citation for near that speed and used Kreps Law out of Birmingham, it took some time, nearly a year but they were able to get it amended to an equipment violation in the state of AL, no points but still held the same fine amount, plus the money I spent with them and the time off from work to go to court 3 times for the infraction. No need to bash you on what you’ve already done, you’ve got to be better out here though, I dang sure learned my lesson that day and I had been trucking 16 years, I was in a hurry no fault but my own.

Try Schneider, they are the only ones that I know of that allow one crazy ticket..or at least they used to.
Here’s the thing about your ticket..not even getting into insurance approvals. If you get one more 15+ within a year you will be put on a timeout. I forget if it’s 30 days or 6 months..you can look it up.
Pretty much you’re one speeding ticket away from a vacation and the carrier loses out on a driver. Why would they want to take a gamble..
