You'll be fine. With your work history you can't have any gaps. Even if it's a week you put unemployed for that week to keep all spaces filled. The money with Estes is out west. Yes you can run wild and stay out however long you'd like BUT I've heard extra board is changing.
When I ran it, you leave for 5 days and come back. You could stay out if you want. Once you leave that home terminal you are dispatched by central and you can do as you please. Now, I'm hearing you cover runs but be home daily. That's how it was for a friend I know at my terminal. He never went out on the road a week. He did make 87k in 8 months tho
It's not the same at all terminals so yours could be different. Just know, being classified as extra board means you are not bound to your terminal. Central dispatch has control over everything and essentially, they pay you. You'll learn all this stuff as you grow with the company. Being extra board is great for the flexibility and options.

Well I got turned down because the page glitched and sent it off without me finishing it. So have to wait for another spot to open. That sucks to hear it’s changing. I really hope it’s not. I use to work for Reddaway and oak harbor. Loved when I got to stay out and run wild. I even considered teams maybe but we’ll see. I’m out of Las Vegas so I dk if they r changing here like u said. Do u know how teams work? Are u paid all miles? Do u use hotel if u stay out for a 34?
