I bet you're right. I remember AR dot telling me they don't mess with OW ag as long as it's flagged. I'll make a few phone calls. Guess I could've done that first

After a great deal of hesitation on the doctors part, he sent me home with enough pills to choke several horses, an IV and some O2 and a neighbor who is normally a hospice care nurse. She is going to man the IVs and make sure I get all the meds I need when I need them. She thinks she can beat me at chess in my weakened state. We will see.

Don't worry I am just going to have to have a running start to kick this RSVs arse. All the above, will be my running start.
Soup time. Be careful out there.Last edited: Jan 22, 2025

Unless things have changed in the last few years, 5 rounds do need a permit in Idaho. They allow 2 wide, 2 tall to max 80k gross. You can get an annual permit for reasonable fee.
Haven’t hauled rounds in quite awhile, only been doing square the last several years.
Now the head scratcher. When I was moving things like spraycoups, seeders and the likes, I could go up to 11’6” with ag exemption. Still had to flag and banner them.singlescrewshaker, CAXPT, Big Road Skateboard and 5 others Thank this. -
Yeah I'm playing hobby farmer with the family til I can muster the willpower to get back to work. I'm guessing it will be spring before I'm willing to run anything other than local. When it gets cold and windy here, things get sideways quick so I like to stay close by rather than leave the wife to deal with snow drifts and rigs that won't start. Nothing worse than being 1,200mi away and hearing the wife on the phone having trouble with the plow truck not starting or throwing a chain etc.
Our winter has been fairly mild so far. We had a few little snowstorms and some negative temps but nothing too bad just yet. Roads have been clear here aside from the night of a snowstorm, but they have it cleared early the following morning.
This is what I've been focusing on for the winter. Much more enjoyable than them frozen parking lots and roller dogs!
