Driver Jailed For Driving On Closed Portion Of I-40

My guess is he knew better but just like so many others he didn't care and did what he felt was easier.
Bet he cares now!

 

Driver's name was "Ankit Ahammitt", guaranteed he was is a foreigner can barely speak English.

 

Pay close attention, they use being from someplace else as an excuse more times than most realize but actually know what they are doing.

This post. Yall can't assume that someone doesn't speak English just because their name doesn't sound American. That's laxy thinking. I tend to go with the logic of he didn't give a #### as well. This makes me think of the lady driver that tore up the bridge because she didn't know how much 6 tons was.......she was all American too! People don't read signs anymore. That's not limited to Americans or anyone else from a nationality. If I call a customer for directions, do you know how many locals don't know street names anymore? Also, look at how many people jump cross traffic to catch an exit.....that's how I know they were driving faster than the GPS was operating. One look at that highlighted route and oh #### that's my exit!!!!

 

I see this sort of stuff every day at the Canadian border.

 

I’ll put it this way. There is no way on earth. That person did not know the road was closed unless he couldn’t speak English or read English why do I say that? Here’s why because Georgia has signs flashing on I 75 warning of the closure Tennessee has signs flashing Between Nashville and Knoxville Warning of the closure and in North Carolina has signs as well and guess what they’re all in English so it’s pretty evident what the problem is.

 

Oh its a way....People ignore signs all the time, even if speak English. I'll acknowledge that it's a possibility that he doesn't speak English, or English may not be his primary language. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt that. I really moreso believe that folks are just defiant for no reason and that this guy here plain didn't give a ####. Hell....you probably saw that story where the lady drove of the edge of the highway in NC and died. Ignored the signage. I think she was a local.

 

He knew road was closed but he comes from another part of the world where no social or ethical rules apply and the people just do whatever they want. Another example of being here and saying screw America and its way of life. When they get caught they play stupid so they won’t get executed at the scene of the crime or a hand chopped off like they would back in their old country.

 

it’s really mind boggling how so many people can live with head in the sand and ignore reality…it’s pretty clear what’s going on..
