I have a friend needing a truck moved and he's requesting me to drive it. Tandem drive truck but the front drive axle only has the outer rims and tires on it while the rear drive has all 4 rims and tires. Does anyone know if it's legal to drive the truck like this or do I need to find some matching wheels and tires to put on to make this a legal truck to drive.
Thanks in advance.

You will be fine as long as the tires and wheels are in good condition and you are not over weight for the tires on the truck

It’s legal the way it is. Just will now have a lighter weight limit if you intend on pulling a trailerSuspect Zero and AgtruckinMatt Thank this.

The only thing I'll be pulling is my fat butt back home. Just wasn't sure. Had never ran into this before. Thank you sir.

Just make sure they’re torqued so they don’t go rolling past your hood
