Question is what were you making in 2019?
-
Worry about yourself
threads kinda irrelevant 100k doesn’t mean much today or exactly 80k
those cpi numbers are low, it’s probably way less -
Easy tiger was just asking since you brought it up
-
the mark to make is 150k now

I wouldn't call it irrelevant there's a lot of guys running up and down the road making a lot less than 100k. This site is all about information and if it stears someone into bettering themselves or changing the situation there in. That's a good thing.ColoradoLinehaul, Lumper Humper, McUzi and 6 others Thank this.

Yeah I understand,
The information for those guys is in the other two thirds of the post you quoted and ignored
showing everyone here they’re not making what they were before. Six digits isnt a magic number anymore it’s low middle class in 2025. anyone making less is nearing the poverty line
Everyone should be striving to do betterLast edited: Jan 26, 2025
McUzi, hotrod1653, Gearjammin' Penguin and 1 other person Thank this. -
Who is the three headed monster? I always thought of cooper as a low end LTL company. Working the dock and then driving sounds insaneLtlAnonymous Thanks this.

$100k means a lot to someone outside of a HCOL or MCOL area. Even after rampant inflation, $100k can be life changing money for a lot of rural Americans.
My last promotion ended up making my 6 figure number start with a 2, now THAT was a life altering change.ColoradoLinehaul, High Stepper, idriveaholden and 2 others Thank this. -
And this just made current freight rates look way worse

McUzi Thanks this.
