    #%#%##$#€!!!!!!!

Another multistop load gone to hell in a handbasket. Probably shouldn't say that since this is a church load. Supposed to be a 0300 del appt, called yesterday and left messages, nothing... Arrive at 0230 and nobody around, wait a bit and call contact number again, finally get a call back, "oh no, it's for 6am". WTF!

So my 99 is at 0530... not. And my preset is a broker load. And if you've read my previous posts you'd recall that I have a 0% success rate with broker loads. Of course I'll be late for that 01 and then just about out of hours for the day.

Good thing I'm off church grounds cause I ain't saying nice things right about now.

I want to work at a school eventually. I need to talk to the guy that runs the local one some day.
He also use to run several schools for Central lol. Do not know if he is anymore or not. They use to have one in New York, but have not heard anything about it in a while.
But he runs the ones at several local Community Colleges.
I have a Bachelors in Recreation and outdoor Education, and allot of outdoor teaching experience. Teaching Skiing is about the same as teaching truck driving. Since it is done best by doing it.
I bet they pay about the same as I get now also.

Sure enough, disaster continues with a brokered chicken load.

My 02 0300 appt volunteer unloaders arrived at 0600, started unloading at 0630 and the pallets for 02 and 99 were mixed up, so we had to figure out the puzzle to get the right ones off. Get to my 99 at 0830, they were ready since they had been there for my 0530 appt. An hour to offload, but they wouldn't ake the pallets, so I'm stuck with finding them a home. So I call my next 01 to see if I can bring them there but nobody is answering the phone so I turn to n/w dispatch for assistance. Yep you guessed it useless endeavor wasting more time. Finally I locate a facility to donate the pallets to and a washout facility near where I fueled.

Get to my next 01 2hrs late and the shipping office is closed till 1700.

The next brokered chicken load I see is being refused. These #### things give me the most stress of this job.

Guess I'll hang out for the next 3hrs waiting for these folks to get off their tails and get to work.

Brokered loads SUCK. I think central only takes them when they can't find anything else for a driver. There is a 100% chance of problems, usually the broker is an #######, they give you ###### directions to the 01 or 99, and of course the qualcomn doesn't have directions and nobody answers the phone. Plus dispatch is useless at giving you anything except the number for the broker.

    Lotsa luck there

Man..dang bootlegger.. I hate chicken loads.. Their nasty, bloody and smell.. Well I'm right outside of st.louis.. And you guessed it.. All the bad weather hit here. Had to duck inside wal marts to dodge the tornado.. But thankfully the lord blessed us and kept us safe to truck another day.. I'm happy to be alive..and thankful as well..

Gunna go pick up at kraft in am.. And be to conley by monday am.. Then take a slight break to shower, wash 6 loads of clothes.. And back on the road by 1500 to hopefully lock in another 3k week.. So far my dm is making me love my job again!!!

no one go to truck stops with me! I always seem to find some kind of drama there. Not my drama, someone else's. Today at the Petro in El Paso after my shower I went to have lunch. I sat in the driver section facing the window and an officer from the sheriff' dept shows up and goes to talk to someone on the other side of the buffet. I went to get a salad to see what was going on but they were speaking Spanish so I didn't ubderstand. Went back to sit down and the officer leaves. 5 minutes later border patrol rolls up and arrests some guy outside. Last time it was a lot lizzard getting arrested fir beating up a Knoxville cop. Lol
