    K thanks. Some companies want drivers that have mechanical knowledge, which I don’t (the company I drive for actually doesn’t want their drivers attempting to work on their trucks).

    Local. The pay’s not great, but I love being home every night. I’ll retire with these poverty wages before I go OTR.

    I been traveling for so long that I actually hate having a home daily job now. Sitting in traffic to and from work, and driving in it with a semi. At my current job, I work 3 weeks on 3 weeks off. Which gives me free time to do whatever I want when I home. Me and the wife took a trip to Switzerland for 2 weeks and I still had a week off to relax and get ready to go back to work.
