The pros & cons of fuel hauling?

    Yup. It doesn't take a lot of extra effort to contain leaks and drips. .The old days of kicking your drip bucket into the fill area are gone forever.

    It gets on you regardless if you notice it or not.
    Unless you’re somehow washing your monkey suit and getting new gloves everyday
    it’s like pfas plastics,forever chemicals you don’t notice it but theyre everywhere

    I do in fact wear clean FR uniforms everyday and don’t get fuel inside my gloves. Sounds like you just weren’t cut out for it

    Nope it ain't but when they get 50 applications within an hour of posting a job within FL (happens constantly) they don't exactly have the incentive to up the pay. Of course everyone wants to haul fuel where it's nice outside, very few want to drive in snow, near white-out conditions with 60mph winds at 10 degrees like I do regularly lol.

    True. I've only been pushed over half a lane with a good gust, never into the ditch sideways.

    I really enjoy it. It's about as hands off as a job as you can get in trucking. I won't be going anywhere else unless I'm let go.
