Salute to you man. That's my goal

 

The wife and I are making a combined $250k. We socked away 80k into various retirement and investment accounts in the past year. The goal has become to retire millionaires in 15-17 years, along with my pension. Seems doable. We haven't wanted for anything, so that's good.

Hey, I just had to laugh at you guys making over double what I was in the beginning. I don't even know how we got through the lean times, but I'm thankful for what we have now.

 

You were able to see the long term, lots of drivers live for NOW.

 

With 3 months left in the year, what's everyone looking at so far?

After my midyear job change, I'm at a total of $76k YTD as of this week's paycheck. Should squeeze into the $100k club once again, although I'm still trying to find the right work-life balance. I'm just grateful that I still enjoy my job and I have some measure of flexibility in the amount of overtime I want to work.

 

Unless something crazy happens I'll make it this year because im sitting at 83. I've been volunteering for every extra shift I can get my hands on and its paying off. We also find out our cost of living increase this week plus we found out our insurance premiums are decreasing 50% next year.

 

Last year at this point I was at 85k and finished just under 115k. Right now I'm at 97k but the overtime is slowing down some. And I haven't been working every Saturday the last month or two.

I figure I will beat last years total, I should break 100k in two weeks. We will probably rebid soon so who knows how that will affect it.

 

Not hitting last year's $130k. Missed a month of work unpaid which messed up the year but should still end up around $115k currently sitting at $87k.

 

Sitting right at $75,900 as of today. Will get close and May just barely break it.
