I try to keep him out of the casinos, but he puts those pennies to work.

 

I am such a blabbermouth I wonder if I was talking when I should have been listening. One thing I learned today was that jbhunt not only records phone conversations but also every word that's said when inside the building. Eeek.

What happened was: got to work after 1 day off and check engine lite on. Shop said it would be around 2 hours to get it in. Went to "manager" my regular manager leaves early so I was dealing with his helper. I volunteered that if it were only 2 or 3 hours to get underway it wouldn't make sense to give me a new truck cuz it takes 2 hours to "move" plus I don't want to give up my truck. I thought i was clearly referring to getting assigned a whole new "forever" truck.

However.. ended up waiting 6 hours for repair to complete and when I was denied hourly breakdown pay it's because "helper" said he offered me a day cab for the day and I refused. But I wouldn't have refused, would have happily accepted.

I asked for a sit down review of that recorded conversation. I'm pretty upset but what if I was busy blabbering over the top of him and didn't hear the offer?

Either way, I talk too much. Gloom.
