Amen, reminds me of a great quote "The Devils greatest trick, was convincing the world he doesn't exist" I say "Canada's greatest trick, was convincing the world it was exceptionally nice, and morally superior to the rest of the world".

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

And I will add.....those jobs are not ever coming back. These tariffs are not going to foster re-creation of manufacturing jobs like people think, or have been told.'88K100, gentleroger and Flint1 Thank this.

Facts, yet American people are distracted by what goes on at the south border. I have my thoughts, but it ain't for here.

This how highly the orange guy thinks about maga followers. The orange dude was a democrat before, but he realized that as a democrat he couldn't become President, therefore he became republican candidate. The orange dude is not as dumb as you guys think, but he knows dmb people will vote for him.liner, Numb and bryan21384 Thank this.

American production/manufacturing will never come back. The big lie is that illegal immigrants are taking all the manufacturing jobs. Not true. Manufacturing is actually the lowest in terms of the amount of jobs immigrants take. They can place these tariffs all they want, it's not bringing those jobs back. It's not forcing those CEOs to ring back manufacturing here. All they will do is pocket the profits. The tariffs will get passed to the working class while it is still cheaper to make product in other countries. If manufacturing does occur here, its going to be mostly automated, and somehow that gets lost in all of this. Not only that, it ain't everything that can be made here. Not every crop can be produced in the states, not every item can be found here. We all kind of need each other so that's why I can't understand this craziness.Numb, '88K100 and gentleroger Thank this.

in the end business is business. If profit margins permit manufacturing to come back it will. If you think tariffs will get passed on your mistaken.
here is why.
before an item is sold it is market tested to see what the buyer is willing to pay for it. To high? The buyer will look for a cheaper substitute. So I doubt a $5 chinesium socket wrench is going to be sold for $10 when India produces the same crap for cheaper.
loyalty is is only as deep as your pockets.
Also you don’t have to look far to see migrants taking jobs.
trucking has gone from a middle class income to the McDonald’s of transportation. Can’t deny that.Last edited: Feb 22, 2025
