If you’re a W2 employee there’s not really any need to go to court when the state will make sure you get your money while also informing her that she can’t withhold pay because she feels like it.

Just talked to both NC DOL and federal DOL. Both said they cannot do anything to recover my wages. Only thing NC DOL said was that she cannot hold my wages hostage unless i had signed something agreeing to pay for damages. Its less than 15k that she owes me so lawyers wont help me and im already home in ND so i cant file small claims court on her in NC(i didnt have a place to stay in NC)

They told me the same thing if i were to file against this other employer in which i was a w2 employee(pyle transportation)

You said you were an employee in a previous post. That is NOT true. You were a CONTRACTOR. You were not earning wages, you were earning revenue.
Employees are paid on a W2. 1099s are for businesses/contractors.
You also stated you didn't sign anything about deductions. I'd bet my left arm that was also a lie. I guarantee you agreed to it in writing somewhere. You're going to get screwed when you file your taxes too.Oxbow and snowlauncher Thank this. -
No. I did not sign anything except an employment application. What post did i say i was an employee? I have 2 different posts on this forum, one for pappys and one for pyle transportation. This one is against pappys transportation of which i was a 1099 employee. I was saying im an EMPLOYEE that is EMPLOYED BY this company
