Heading up to Gauley Bridge this morning, look at a stepdeck for a customer. If it’s good bones may drag it back to him…..

A high of 79F expected today.
This is the time of year you never know what clothing you should have in the truck. T shirts? Yeah. Long sleeves? Hmm probably. Hoodie? Yeah. Winter coat? Maybe. Insulated coverall? Yeah, CYA. Insulated boot? Yeah probably. Down vest? Just in case. Duffle bag to put all of that in? Heck yes.
I was doing well with the antibiotic until last night. At the late night swap of the IV bag, it made me nauseated clear down to my toes. Doctor called another med added, didn't help. Doctor called, he ordered something to put me to sleep, didn't work. Cola syrup and crushed ice worked great and it is the only thing to keep it at bay.
No going home today though.

So the New River and Gauley come together and make the Kanawah? (I had to see where Kanawah Falls was)
I've run out that way maybe 3 times since I started. Seems like my deliveries always were around the New River, so I enjoyed the fishin and a canoe livery or two. Lots of nice country out there.
Skinny roads, small towns, old towns with history, very nice.
But dahm the interstates gettin over there from here. I'd rather take a kick in the crotch than run 40 into TN.TX2Day, broke down plumber, sawmill and 6 others Thank this.
