Never calculated my pay that way.
Paid from the time we walk into our drivers room till we walk out.
I may drive 600 miles or 16 miles a day.
All pays the same.
All us drivers average around 115 to 125 I'd guess, with top earners around 150 and the slackers around 100.

Basic local drivers make $40-$45 hr. -
I’m also very lucky to have bought my house over seven years ago so my mortgage is way way less than the average.

Trailer itself is heavy loaded or “empty” Is only an 8,000lbs difference. But if you had to covert it to gallons I’d say between 13k-14k gallonsLast edited: Feb 6, 2025
