First, I do have a tax guy, and I will get more of a concrete answer from him at some point, but I'm asking on here right now.
I live in Tennessee. I have one address and it's in Tennessee. If I lease my truck onto a company based in New York do I have to pay New York state income tax ?
In the past I've been leased onto a company in Arkansas and i didn't pay Arkansas income tax, but I know neighboring states sometimes have tax setups that don't apply in other scenarios.

Pretty much this. I live in SD but am leased to a company in KS. I only pay whatever SD requires of me and the company im leased to only pays KS what they are obligated to.
