Essential Information for Experienced Truckers

I am started my logistics company I have a MC# but my driving record isn’t so good so I’m planning on purchasing a DOT# for my wife to operate under.while I cover her accounting work on the laptop from our other job in the passenger seat. Would shippers not approve of me riding with her to pick up loads? I won’t be entering the warehouse to load the pallets. I was planning on just being. A ride along for trips
