No way Cassens can cover all this. A large part of this will probably be going on the AHX platform where it will be gobbled up by random carriers who think $1.87 per mile is making bank.

Yep. Those $1.75 per mile trucks already tripping all over themselves lining up for this.

GM and Ford are both going to eventually realize that the remaining carriers will only get the experienced drivers and be able to handle the volume if the rates and pay stay where it is currently or goes up. If they broker this freight they will get every unprofessional non English speaking wedge in the country delivering their freight. They will long for the days of the professional carhauler. Time will tell if the auto industry is like the rest of corporate America and their thirst for outrageous profits while cutting wages or if they are willing to pay for professional service.

It’s like they say, ya get what ya pay for!
If they go for every Tom dick and harry to haul there cars, they deserve every bit of what they’re paying for

I agree totally! At this point its too risky of a bet for my money on how it turns out. I want to think they will value service and non damaged timely deliveries, but the CEO’s of America can’t get by with 6 vacation homes. The only bright spot I can think of is most of the wedge drivers will be deported soon.
