I can’t say how prevalent that really might be, but it is well documented as having been found before on several occasions. There’s one video in Youtube I saw with a Canadian wrecker driver who left a truck sitting once he discovered the pipe from the floor and the human #### all over the place underneath.

Knew someone years ago who was a former service manager at a truck dealership. He claimed to have had a truck show up with TP twisted around the driveline and #### splatter all over the top of the transmission. He said the truck was removed from the shop and the customer was told they were no longer welcome there.MidwestResident, D.Tibbitt, broke down plumber and 4 others Thank this.

Yep, I saw that video too. That confirmed that it wasn't a tall tale, but a true story.MidwestResident, broke down plumber, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this.

Funny how their 'entry level' employers were always of the same ethnic background.
I used to look them up to make sure I wasn't corresponding with an 'uncle' living in California.
I never had the thought to ask if the hole in the floor was common in their experience, LOLMidwestResident, D.Tibbitt, broke down plumber and 2 others Thank this. -
I've told this before, but a crappy subject,,,,,I worked with a guy that managed a truck repair shop. One day, 2, um, guys, from a far away country, came in, said the truck had a vibration, bring it in, let's see, he said. Right away, something was wrong, it stunk. Upon closer inspection, these, um, guys, made a hole in the sleeper floor and, yep, were using it.The entire underside was covered. I felt bad for the poor schmuck that had to power wash the thing. They didn't think they were doing anything wrong. I suppose coming from a country where they crap in the streets, I guess not.MidwestResident, D.Tibbitt, broke down plumber and 4 others Thank this.

A friend of mine has a shop in Yuba City. He confirms the "hole in the sleeper floor" story. His regular customers know not to bring him one of those porta potty trucks but occasionally a stranger tries to slip one through.
Three or four guys to a truck isn't unusual.MidwestResident, D.Tibbitt, broke down plumber and 3 others Thank this. -
I would do inventories of the empty vrs loaded containers at a large multi-tenant facility and anytime I saw a lumpy plastic Quick-Check or WAWA bag stubbornly refusing to blow away I would stay well away...D.Tibbitt, broke down plumber, 201 and 1 other person Thank this.

Called a broker about a load and he said "Oh, thank God, you speak English! I'm gonna get you on this load."
I asked if the companies calling him are really that bad & he said "You have no idea...I can't understand what they're asking."Opendeckin, D.Tibbitt, broke down plumber and 3 others Thank this. -
At a previous job we warehoused also, the number of drivers that would show up that couldn't speak English was amazing, it was a daily fight. Most would just come in and point at the picture of the load info on the phone. Some would come in as a 2 or 3 person group with 1 who spoke passable English. Old boss wouldn't tolerate it and refused to load any of them, but there were days we would turn away 4 or 5 carriers for just one load.
We had one guy show up in a Transit van to pick up 4 pallets of plastic weighing 10k lbs, all he kept saying was It's OK you load, when we told him we couldn't load a van, thinking he was still getting the freight then got upset when we finally told him to leave.Opendeckin, MidwestResident, kemosabi49 and 2 others Thank this.
