Maybe we need to swap your hoe for a pick axe. Seems the row you've been workin at lately may be rock instead of dirt.

@D.Tibbitt I see you have been out messing up the weather again. CKE came down here to enjoy the BBQ and spring weather and you rolled up there and dumped 10 inches of snow! Then we are going to have 3 days of rain starting Monday. Gonna have to find you a local job that's all there is to it. Then you can keep your weather.
singlescrewshaker, Friend, 1951 ford and 14 others Thank this. -

I appreciate that but all our hay goes to Japan. Hence the quadruple freight charges.
Excellent hay for your competition horses and racing horses is incredibly expensive. He has also started importing a very good mix hay for the not so high dollar horses.
He bought a large acreage property not far from the first property last fall. Since then he has bought even more property that is currently planted in a rich alfalfa. The fall property will need to be planted again but by the time the first and third are on their second cut the fall property will be ready for its first....maybe the second cut. Depending on the lab results we will know where it will slot into production.
We had 5 full time and 2 late season part time guys last year and still managed to shift around and take care of our other contracts. This year to meet all of our obligations I will need another 7 full time O/O that have an old school work ethics. So I need to get out of this hospital bed and start talking to folks.
This being sick is very inconvenient.
Since you are pretty much on our route....I may be calling you. Is your truck healthy now?singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt, LameMule and 11 others Thank this.
