You read the Craigslist add, contact the seller using the link or the contact info listed in the ad, ask all the questions you have, and arrange to meet the seller at some safe place if you think it is safe. The parking lot of the Police Dept is one common spot.

 

You can also look on Ebay.com, pay by credit card, and have the item shipped to your address. This forum has a buy & sell section. I sold an almost brand new Garmin GPS to another forum member when I retired. I gave him a good deal on it. I think we were both happy with the process.

 

Usually loves put them on blow about sale when there is a new model coming out I bought the 810 and the new model is the 820 I am good with the older model at the price point I bought it
