It’s possible we ran past each other. I can’t remember the broker I went through but it I was independent.

 

I sold a 7.62 acre lot with a 30'x40' pole barn on a concrete slab for $136,000 in 2019. In 2023 it sold again for $390,000. I really regret that one and wish I had never sold.

 

Wow, that’s interesting to hear. I’m running 16 right now so right in that same range. Hopefully they can hang on and make it through.

 

I’ve seen that truck a time or two when I would run up through Belgrade,MT.

 

I sold it and the trailer to a guy up north around Choteau in 2020. No idea if it’s still around, but it was cursed. Every week something would need fixed. I learned out of necessity how to work on the 3406E. If I did it again I’d be a lot more cautious about the truck I’d buy.

 

When it calls, remember being stuck at a truckstop in a blizzard - specifically the condition of the bathrooms.

 

Whenever I think about going back out, I think about traffic.......Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and the random idiot who thought it would be a good idea to do 'X'.........then I open another beer and say 'nope'.

 

I'm not quite as retired yet, but every time I see trucks stacked on the 294 Oasis' and in the Badger Scale House it cures my 'yearn for the open road'.

 

A statistically significantly larger number than there was even three years ago, yeah.
