Hogs can swim....but if it's piglets prolly not good. But it's too cold to not have more sidekit on for it to be piglets. I'm betting he's empty. Why would anybody park with a load on?
If there was animals on it there'd be shavings or straw floating around it.

Hauled 2 loads of bacon seeds today! That was a 1st for me, feeders from nursery to finishing house. Started as 2 loads, (in a pinch) now we are up to 8 on the schedule. Just running one of his trucks for now, if I like it, probably start using mine.

I have questions about bacon seeds. Freshly weaned? Do you count them? How cooperative are they about getting on and off the trailer? How many decks in trailer?

They are really little, probably 30-40ish lbs. Yep, count them going on, that way you can get the cuts right,470 is a nice load. Trailer is only 2 decks, not a pot like @Isafarmboy. They get off way quicker than going on, but not terrible to load. I have already formulated a theory that cattle are infinitely easier to chase lolaustinmike, Oxbow, High Stepper and 12 others Thank this.

Velly simple count hog animals. Count feet; use abacus, divide by 4. Gives accurate number hogs went by....
2 deck trailers were all I ever had.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 19, 2025

Or get them to chase back some times. Keep in the back of your mind there are very few head hunters that just want to brawl. Since they make it known you’re better off cause you expect it. One just wanting out is the dangerous one, they ain’t looking to hurt anyone but they feel cornered and when they come outta that corner they just want out. You are collateral damage if your in the wayexhausted379, IH Truck Guy, sawmill and 14 others Thank this.
