yea the def system does not kill engine its the egr that does, the def system is just costly to repair

For those curious about driving a Cabover, lay down in the floor and shuck your britches off and take a nap. Then while laying on the floor shuck your britches on, climb over the coffee table and go on your way.

Most comfortable for getting dressed are the Aerodyne KW’s, ran the maroon / silver pictured below from WV to Texas every week, it too had no power steering as did my 73 model I bought in 1987.

They do ride rougher, but I’m sure modern models have possibly improved.

Many say the Cabovers had more blind spots, and they are correct for the most part.

When steer’n & gear’n a Cabover you pretty much feel like you’re setting on the white line….

euro cabovers have flat floors so you can stand up in them, they just dont have the overall space a conventional does

that was the case with the old ones. the argosy had the room to stand up and the euro cab overs do aswell and they usually run full cab and air suspension, unlike us trucks that dont run full bags on the cab
