I had over a million before I started P and D so i guess it might not count. I run between 1250 and 1500 miles a week so it would take 20 years on my current route.

The other day i blind sided off a 4 lane highway around some cars straight into the dock. The shipping clerk said "man, it looks like you've done that before." I said yeah, I do it 15 times a day so it gets to be pretty easy LOL.

Well, typically, city drivers rarely boast about how many miles they drive. Most are paid by the hour, and mileage is of no concern. Just sit on that stack of pallets on a dock, and listen to the dollars add up. ;)

I know I don’t count…… even though technically I’ve done P&D many many years…. Course I’ve always done long haul 12-15 stops over 2k+ miles
But imho in terms of local…,I’m sure it’s really Barn dependent
A driver in NYC or any large city probably doesn’t do 200 miles a week
Where one in a small remote barn could easily do 350+ a day

I just keep track of my hours according to FMSCA. I do keep mileage for my service records.

At Pyle they use the ATA standard for city drivers- 12 years accident free is considered a million miles.

My run is similar to @High Stepper ‘s so I do about 65-70K a year
Well, when I came off nights they put me in an almost new single screw. I put about 700K on that truck, 250K on the next one, and I have about 220K on the current horse.

Mostly palletized general freight. We stay pretty busy fortunately.

My route miles are pretty close to what @MACK E-6 does. I’ll count up my miles on March 19th, my one year anniversary with CCFS.

####, where are these 1000 miles a week P&D jobs? When I run P&D I have days where I get 5 miles on a forklift and 25 miles in a truck.

I could hit a million miles by the year 3025.

    Still undecided Thanks this.

I’m looking at about 1500 for the week by the end of today.

Take a run that goes the hinterlands somewhere, especially if your barn’s service area extends further in a direction where there aren’t any other terminals.
