While do diesel 4-wheelers always idle their pickups??

That will be vehicle specific. Some 4 wheelers can take a high flow nozzle, the others will soak the user if they try.

 

we do it because we can fill up with bulk DEF instead of messing with cans.

 

That's the only sensible reason IMO. As far as the truck pumps and pick ups I do appreciate it when I see a guy pulling a big 5th wheel or camper (or other trailer) use the truck pumps instead of the fiasco they cause trying to wedge in to the 4 wheeler pumps up front.

 

Am I the only one that thinks these trucks look incredibly gay?

 

Who the #### cares as long as the owner likes it. Nobody is forcing you to drive or own one.

I bet you have an altered/loud exhaust system on your vehicle.

 

If it s a 6.0 or 6.4 guy he might be thinking it might not start again.
